If you celebrate your Bucks or Hens night at The Worldsend Hotel, we can help you with as much (or as little) as you want. Set over three levels, the Worldsend Hotel offers a full range of hotel services and facilities, dining options, function facilities, indoor and outdoor areas, and plasma screens.
We have a large variety of packages to accommodate your every need and are conveniently located in the CBD.
Packages include:
- dinner packages from $35.00 per head (minimum 30ppl*) for 3 course meal. Minus $6 for 2 course meal.
- dinner & show from $40.00 per head (minimum 30ppl*) for 3 course meal. Minus $6 for 2 course meal.
- deluxe dinner & show from $POA per head (minimum 30ppl*)
- Dinner & Pole dancing classes (sorry boys-hens only) from $POA per head (minimum 30ppl*)
- Entertainment, stripper performances & topless waitresses** are also available upon request.
- DJ’s – POA
*numbers under 30 can still be catered for but prices will vary.

If you don’t feel a package is for you and you want to organise your own night you can simply hire one of our spaces and let your imagination run wild. The Worldsend offers a range of cost-effective and flexible function space options that would suit any type and size of Bucks or Hens night on an ‘exclusive hire’ or ‘non-exclusive’ (shared space) basis.
We specialise in seated & cocktail style events, indoor & outdoor areas, areas in the bar or hire the entire Upper Level with private bar for up to 150 people!
The Worldsend Hotel is the perfect venue for your Hens/Bucks Party, after-work drinks, social club functions, promotional and launch events, conference and seminar events, engagement parties, 21st and other birthday celebrations.
Our options for Functions are extremely cost effective and flexible and a complete Functions Information Pack can be emailed to you upon request.

Areas for Hire
Function Room
Upstairs you have exclusive use of our facilities including the omni bar (with bar attendant of course), private toilets, and large, atmosphere filled function room that caters for 150 people (or 60 if a sit down meal is more what you are after). This area is great for larger social gatherings; especially if you require a dance floor or entertainment such as a live band or DJ (we are happy to assist you in finding a DJ). If you don’t want live entertainment we have a 5 stacker CD player, DVD player, and 2 TVs including a state of the art Plasma Screen that you can also connect your laptop to for power point applications, slide shows, internet access.
You have the choice of having the area fitted out with tables or left bare so you can let you inner decorator run wild!
Costs: There is a $100 refundable bond* and a $150 security fee (also refundable if more than $3000 is spent over the bar on the night). Once your bond is received your booking is secure.
Dining Room
If you require a somewhat more personal area then why not have a look at our dining room? It seats up to 50 people as well as giving you easy access to the rest of the hotel facilities. You can also create your own ambience with the 3 stacker CD player that is discreetly out of sight. Choose from A la Carte menu or discuss the possibilities of a set menu with our function manager.
Costs: $400 but in this you get $400 of food included free. A deposit is required to secure bookings.
Beer Garden
Our Beer Garden has just completed extensive renovations including a second level urban beer garden, an adjustable vergola (that can be open or shut), funky lighting to suit any mood, and brand spanking new furniture. Regardless of the weather, it’s an outdoor entertainer’s dream! The BBQ and famous spit roast are still available for when you want that something extra too.
The Beer Garden is a great alternative to the usual function space as it can be as casual or as formal as you’d like. You can order food from our restaurant menu, function platters, canapés, or we can organise for a BBQ or spit roast…the possibilities really are endless.
Please note that unless specifically requested, the public gains entry to the Beer Garden from 12:00 Friday and Saturday nights.
Costs: $150 Hire (and a refundable $150 bond*) along with a $500 minimum food purchase (neg) paid in advance. Once the bond is received your booking will be secure.
Off-site Catering
If you are having any kind of function at your business or other establishment and require catering then we can do that too. We have a vast range of platters, canapés, baguettes, and other tempting delights to make your mouth water. By choosing us to cater for your next event, function, or meeting you can also choose to have your event licensed.
